Hendrik Malan, an individual trading as SHADOWFLOW ("we", "us", "our"), is the seller of the game and season passes described here. By creating an account, buying a season pass or otherwise using SHADOWFLOW (the "Service"), you enter into an agreement with Hendrik Malan and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.

WHO MAY USE THE SERVICE

You must be of legal age to enter into a contract in your country, or have the permission of a parent or guardian. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation. You must give accurate account information, keep it up to date, and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

WHAT WE PROVIDE

SHADOWFLOW is a browser-based precision platforming game with single-player chambers, a daily chamber, an endless mode, a level editor, community chambers and leaderboards. A one-time Season 1 pass unlocks the playable modes for that season. Passes never grant gameplay advantages — they only unlock access.

LICENCE AND RESTRICTIONS

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to play SHADOWFLOW for your own non-commercial enjoyment within the access you have purchased. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, resell, redistribute or sublicense the Service, circumvent technical limits or access controls, or use automation to falsify times, scores or leaderboard positions.

ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to:

• use the Service unlawfully or for fraud, spam or harassment;
• upload community chambers or names that infringe intellectual property, or that contain illegal, hateful or abusive content;
• probe, scan, overload or interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, or introduce malware;
• scrape, mass-download or republish the Service or its content.

YOUR CONTENT

You keep ownership of the chambers you build and publish. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and distribute that content solely to operate the Service. You confirm you have the rights to the content you upload. We may remove content that breaches these terms, and rights holders may contact us at the address below to request a takedown; repeat infringers lose access.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

SHADOWFLOW, including its software, level designs, artwork, audio, branding and documentation, remains the property of Hendrik Malan and his licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.

PAYMENT, BILLING AND REFUNDS

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax and cancellation mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee; refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

SERVICE AVAILABILITY

We work to keep SHADOWFLOW available and responsive, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Chambers, modes and features may change, and maintenance or outages may occur.

SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time. When access ends, you may request an export of your saved records within 30 days, after which the data may be deleted.

WARRANTIES AND LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

INDEMNITY

You agree to indemnify Hendrik Malan against claims arising from content you upload, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these terms.

CHANGES, ASSIGNMENT AND LAW

We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. You may not assign your rights without our consent; we may assign ours in connection with a merger or sale of the business. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. These terms are governed by the laws of the seller's country of establishment, and the courts there have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
